#12 Two PTs Walk into a Garage

Week 12 was great because there was sunshine! It was so great to be able to get outside again. The garage was colder than outside so we decided it was best for our workout to be in the warm sun. 

This workout will sneak up on you! The core exercises are harder than they look and it will get you sweating even with small movements. PTs help each other to make sure we are doing all the exercises done correctly which you can see in the video as I instruct my mom on her deep core activation

Reminder – the fancy equipment isn’t needed and can be replaced by anything you have around the house.

Workout #12:

Tools: 

PVC pipe

ViPR

Sliders

Sets & Reps:

45 seconds for each exercise

4 exercises per circuit

3 reps of circuit

~30 minutes for 2 circuits

Circuit 1:

1. ViPR step back lunge with rotation

2. Seated trunk rotation with PVC pipe

3. Side shuffles

4. Bridge roll up/down or Core roll up/down

Circuit 2:

1. ViPR figure 8

2. PVC pipe single leg RDL

3. Walk outs or standing roll downs

4. Reverse crunch or Core marches

All workouts are focused on bone health by moving in all directions with varying loads, recovery between sets while focusing on core, hips, and shoulder stability in every direction.
