Mama Strong

Looking to get active again with or after baby?

This is a free class in collaboration with Be Well with Mama that is meant to be a workout for moms who are pregnant or postpartum and wanting help to get active.

The structure of the class is below:

  • 5 minutes of core connection and breathing

  • 30 minutes of a circuit-type workout

  • 5 minutes of trunk and pelvic mobility

  • 10 minutes of Q&A with other moms and instructor

Workouts designed by Dr. Lisa Piropato - all catered to pregnancy and postpartum needs.

Kids are welcome to come along or you can wear baby during the workouts. Come wearing comfortable clothes to move in.

Please sign up in advance for the dates on our online scheduling platform and complete the waiver below before your first class.

The Athletic Shoulder

Want to keep your shoulders healthy?

Play a sport such as tennis, golf, or yoga? Have trouble lifting overhead? We will be discussing how important our shoulders are to every day life and how to keep them healthy. The majority of this workshop includes exercises to help keep dynamic stability of the shoulder complex.

Core & Pelvic Floor for the Active Female Workshop Series

For anyone with a core and pelvic floor!

  • Do you know what is included in your "core"? These muscles help us breathe, use the bathroom, get out of bed, and all movements during exercise.

    In this 60-minute workshop, you will learn the essential muscles that make up the core (including your pelvic floor muscles).

    This is a foundational course in which all subsequent levels are based.

  • Now that you have learned how to find and activate these essential muscles, let's work them!

    In this 60-minute workshop, you will learn how to get these muscles working in your daily life. This includes daily tasks, workouts, and the importance of relaxation.

    This is the 2nd level building from “Activate.”

Working in Rotation for the Core

  • We do not live our lives with just moving in one direction. Our body requires us to move in all directions with twists & turns.

    In this 60-minute workshop, you will learn the rotational component of your core. This is a great workshop for active women in yoga, tennis, golf, or any other rotational activity.

    This is the 3rd level building from “Activate & Use It or Lose It.”

Core & Floor for the Impact Athlete

  • Impact training including running, jumps, and heavy weight lifting put a high amount of pressure and work into your trunk & pelvis.

    In this 60-minute workshop, you will learn about pressure management and how to appropriately activate your core muscles during these activities.

    This is the 4th and final level building from the previous levels.
